Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, on Irrawaddy Road, is about 1.0 kilometre away. With the specialist centres and medical suites that have grown up along Thomson Road and around the station, the two hospitals make Novena a place many households visit for appointments, and short journeys matter.

Getting to Novena From Thomson Eight
Novena is one stop south of Toa Payoh on the North-South Line, and Thomson Road connects the two by car or bus. From Novena the line continues to Newton, for the Downtown Line, and to Orchard and the city.
